About Dr. Boretz

Dr. Boretz received his undergraduate degree from SUNY University at Albany where he graduated summa cum laude. He obtained his medical degree from SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn, graduating cum laude and a member of the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. He trained in orthopaedic surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, NY. This was followed by a hand surgery fellowship at Tufts Medical Center and the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Boretz is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He also holds a certificate of added qualification in surgery of the hand. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is an active member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
